Well, they've been outed yet again for unethical and illegal behavior.
Here's today's report:
"The Scientist" at http://www.the-scientist.com/blog/display/56191/
The Allerca company, who got known for their claims of having developed an antiallergic cat breed (called Ashera cat), has announced they get out of business with their pet production in 2010. The companies seriosity has always been questioned ever since they first appeared in 2004. This peaked in 2008 when it became public that European customs officers had confiscated three Ashera cats in January 2008 when they were imported to Holland. The recherches showed that these cats were in fact 3 Savannahs purchased from an American Savannah breeder. They had been sold as Asheras for the outraging price of 22.000 USD per cat!
Additionally, here is a very reputatble feline site (ignore the silliness of the site name, it is actually very factual!), MessyBeast and what they have posted about Simon Brodie, the criminal, is scary stuff. Please check our Forum for indepth information on the Allerca scam!!
