DRIVING DIRECTIONS
We are excited you are coming to Buffalo, NY to pick up your new kitten!
We are at 521 Lafayette Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14222. Home phone: 716.882.1133. Our house phone is temperamental, so feel free to knock loudly (door bells don't work).
From the East:
Take Rt 90 East to Rt 33 West. More specifically: at exit 50 the road will split into a Y - the right leg turns into 290 and the left leg is the continuance of the Thruway.
After you have merged onto the Thruway again, merge right, as you will exit almost immediately onto Route 33 West.
Remain onto Rt 33 West until it Y's and Rt 33 continues on the left, and Rt 198 West is on the right. The turn onto 198 is a hard right, so go slow.
As you merge onto Rt 198, be aware that shortly there is a traffic signal!! About one mile after the signal, exit onto Elmwood Avenue South. Turn RIGHT on Elmwood.
Enter Elmwood Avenue, bearing right. Drive down Elmwood, past the Albright Knox Art Gallery to your left and Buffalo State College to your right. About 1 mile down Elmwood at a traffic signal you will make a right onto Lafayette Avenue.
There is a stop sign at the first intersection, Ashland Avenue. Continue through the intersection, we are the second house on the left, a dusky purple color with white and dark purple trim. If you get to a traffic circle and a church on your right, you have gone too far. Just go around the traffic circle, come back onto Lafayette and park before the stop sign.
Our house number is hard to see, and the door bell doesn't work on either the front or side doors

From the West:
Take Route 90 to Rt 190 North. Exit at Rt 198 East. Take 198 East to Elmwood Avenue exit. The exit takes you to face the Albright Knox Art Museum. Make a right and you will be facing a traffic signal - this is at Elmwood Avenue. Make a LEFT onto Elmwood.
Drive down Elmwood, past the Albright Knox Art Gallery to your left and Buffalo State College to your right. About 1 mile down Elmwood at a traffic signal you will make a right onto Lafayette Avenue.

Local Lodgings
If you are staying overnight, we suggest the two following local motel/hotels. They are near by, easily reached, and have decent rates.
Driving to Hampton Inn or Best Western:
To get to these local hotels, go east on Lafayette (Back towards Elmwood) and continue to a traffic circle, enter the circle right and exit immediately to Delaware Avenue - the first road off the circle. Drive south on Delaware about 2. 5 miles and the hotels are on your right hand side.
Both these hotels are on Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14202, with a block or two of each other, and are on the same side (West) of the street.
