CONDITIONS OF SALE
Buyer, and if Allergy Adoption, Safe Home, accepts full
responsibility for the care of this cat/kitten for its lifetime and agrees to
the following terms:
Exercise: ForestWind Siberians are not allowed outdoors unsupervised. Leashed harness walks and fully enclosed recreation areas are encouraged. Buyer will provide a generous amount of daily playtime for this kitten, toys for amusement, and not cage it as a general rule.
Desexing: Kitten is to be desexed and vaccination series started no later than aged 20 weeks.Declawing: ForestWind kittens are never declawed. Declawing
surgically removes the tips of the cat's "fingers." Declawing is a
mutilation and cruelty that can alter the kitten's/cat's temperament, behavior,
and health. Declawing your kitten or cat
voids all protections of this contract for the Buyer.
Veterinary Care and Health Updates:
Buyer agrees to maintain proper veterinary care for their cat/kitten, including
yearly check-ups. Buyer agrees to immediately inform Breeder of genetic
health issues so
affected cats ("lines"), can be removed from breeding programs and other pet owners notified.
Nutrition and Care: Buyer
agrees to feed a high quality diet. We recommend Natural Balance, Wellness
Core, Wellness Salmon, Eagle Pack Anchovy and Sardine, Orijin, and Blue Buffalo
Wilderness kibbles, supported by ground chicken/organ meats and salmon oil.
Transition: Buyer agrees to follow seller's recommendations
for transition period of two weeks to one month. Directions are provided at
time of transfer of kitten. They include: isolation in a safe and
cozy place, with climber, litter box, food and water to enable kitten to
develop confidence and desire to explore and participate in its new life. Buyer
agrees not to overwhelm kitten with other pets, visitors or too much handling.
Kittens are like babies and need a gentle introduction to their new lives.
Failure to follow instructions can lead to behavior or emotional problems in

Health Guarantee: Breeder will accept kitten/cat back for replacement,
if within 14 days hours a veterinarian certifies in writing that the kitten is genetically
ill or deformed in such a way as to make it unsuitable for the purposes for
which it was purchased. Although unfortunate, situations such as giardia,
coccidia, ringworm, etc are easily treatable, and do not void this contract,
nor serve as reasons for kitten replacement. Kittens are living creatures and as such Buyer
should understand will require health care over their lifetime, as with any
living creature. Any and all transportation costs for return of kitten and
shipping of replacement kitten are to be paid by Buyer. Proof of
examination must be furnished to Breeder within three weeks of kitten/cat�s
arrival at your home. This cat/kitten is to be kept in transition space
and away from all other animals until it is examined. Any and all vet bills or debts incurred on
behalf of this cat/kitten are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
Genetic Guarantee:
ForestWind Siberians guarantees kittens for FIP, HCM or PKD for ten years
from date of purchase. Cats will be replaced upon receipt of diagnosis by a
licensed veterinary specialist or necropsy conducted by Cornell Veterinary
Labs, paid for by Buyer. ForestWind Siberians will replace the affected
kitten/cat with another of the same quality (pet / breeder / show). No
cash refunds are provided. Except as stated this contract, Breeder makes no
representations as to the health or quality of this cat/kitten, nor does
Breeder assume any other financial obligations to the Buyer.
Allergy
Adoptions: Buyer has identified, and Safe Home has agreed to provide a permanent
home for Buyer�s kitten(s) should conditions arise necessitating rehoming the
kitten(s). No refund is provided by ForestWind Siberians. By signing this
contract, the Safe Home is agreeing to follow the same adoption provisions as
Buyer. If Kitten is rehomed to Safe Home, Breeder is to be notified of the Safe
Home�s current address, email, and phone numbers.

Shipping: Breeder is no longer responsible for the cat/kitten
once it has been released to airline employees / or shipping agents of any kind;
or owner. Additional insurance can be purchased through the airline.
Non Refundable Deposit and Payments: The
Buyer understands that a 1/2 purchase price deposit is required to reserve any
cat/kitten. Deposits are non-refundable
should Buyer decide at any time not to purchase the
cat/kitten. Buyer's deposit is deducted from the balance due.
Upon selection of specific kitten, the remainder of purchase price is due.
Kitten price is non-refundable if paid. If your kitten is too small, or becomes
ill, or there is a problem when spaying / neutering, your payment will apply to
the next available kitten of the same quality and type (pet/show). You may elect to wait longer for a kitten of
the same color and patterning. No refunds are provided. If we accept your kitten for rehoming, we
do not refund your adoption fee. Shipping
costs if necessary, and spay/neuter fees are due and payable three weeks before

Rehoming: Should rehoming for any reason be necessary
(except for Allergy Adoptions), return of kitten to Breeder is both required
and is at Buyer�s cost. Breeder does not provide refund to Buyer for returned
kittens. Buyer agrees to return CFA or
TICA registration to Breeder at time of return of kitten.
By initialing and signing this contact, and having his or her initials and
signature notarized below, Buyer attests that he or she has read, understands,
and agrees with the terms and conditions within this contract. If any
provision in this contract is found to be unenforceable, it does not invalidate
the enforceability of any other provision, clause or condition set forth in
this contract. If any litigation occurs it is understood that it will have to
be filed and performed at the Breeder�s home city, county, state, and country
and at the Buyer�s expense.
